CONNECT SIX was founded by a group of friends from Singapore, who wanted to remind people to sit down and connect with one another instead of facing their electronic gadgets.

 

It all began when the Director, Goh Jia Lin, attended a gathering with her friends. Sensing the awkward atmosphere throughout the day, she immediately realised that something was amiss.

 

After some profound thought, she was appalled to conclude that the reason for the awkward atmosphere throughout the day was due to her friends having their eyes glued to mobile screens all the time. She knew at once that something has to be done to prevent her family and friends from being too immersed in the digital world!

 

An avid player of board and card games, it dawned on Jia Lin that such games were the perfect way to encourage everyone else to put down their mobile devices and start interacting with one another.
